The starter motor on dads 1934 Austin Seven was very tired and slow turning the engine over. Found Paul on the internet and after a chat with him sent the motor to him for a full restoration. Picked it up a few weeks later and we had a problem convincing dad it was his original starter motor and not a brand new one. Fitted it to the car that afternoon and it spun the engine over faster than ever and it started up in seconds instead of winding it over for a couple of minutes from cold. Very pleased with Pauls work on the starter motor and price. 100% genuine bloke!

You recently supplied me with a dynamo conversion and solid state regulator conversion on invoice number 102717. I have only now got round to installing it in my BSA car, and it works perfectly. I was particularly impressed with the quality of the work you have done, and by your attention to detail. The labelling of the various connections was really clear (making installation virtually idiot proof), and you even replaced all the grub screws in the regulator, and fitted a new annotated paper label to the back of it. The dynamo also looks brilliant, with new screws etc. I wasn't expecting the work to be to such a high standard, so am really pleased. The only shame is that I spent so much on the dynamo before I gave it to you, but these things are sometimes difficult to avoid.

One word sums up the experience of sending Paul an Alfa Giulia dynamo for rebuild..... quality. With Paul you're dealing with someone who knows their stuff and won't do anything other than a quality job. He anticipated my question and suggested I also send the Bosch regulator with the dynamo and the former turned out to be beyond repair. Paul then sourced a quality replacement from his stock and provided it at no extra cost than a cheap lesser quality pattern part. The dynamo needed a complete rebuild (Paul gave updates on turnaround time) and came back looking better than new with all parts painted or zinc plated and worked faultlessly when installed, thanks Paul I won't hesitate to use you your service again and will point any friends needing similar work your way.
